Overlooking endless rows of vineyards and glorious untouched countryside, this villa is idyllic Dordogne at its best. Mornings begin in the garden, picking fresh fruit from the mature trees before putting together a tasty breakfast in the homespun kitchen. Feast all together on the terrace or pull up a chair in the bright dining space – we loved the exposed stone walls and terracotta floors. Once the plates are cleared, curl up on the plump leather couches in the cosy living space with a good book. But if you fancy soaking up the balmy sunshine, make a beeline for the striped poolside loungers. After an afternoon swim and a barbecue lunch, take the hour’s drive to Périgueux to sample the city’s famous black truffle or stay local and stroll through the charming town of Bergerac, reached in twenty-six minutes by car – we couldn’t get enough of the quaint half-timber houses and traditional barges that cruise the Dordogne River.

Host
This home is managed by Oliver
This home is managed directly by a business. A member of their staff will be your point of contact before and during your stay. Nearly twenty years ago, Oliver and his friend began curating the world's most unique and rustic getaways. Driven by their own unforgettable experience at a chateau, they have grown remarkably since then. Much like Plum, they believe in hand-picked luxury that doesn't break the bank.
