The Dordogne’s beauty is simply unmatched. One of the lushest and greenest regions of France, its cuisine comes from wonderfully organic sources, with history and culture to boot. And just when you thought there couldn't be a superior area, the Périgord Vert offers truly unspoiled landscapes. Wind through traditional country lanes and woodland scenery to this fabulous villa, just forty-five minutes from Périgueux. Previously a working farmhouse, you can easily imagine the rural scenes that took place here. Set in huge grounds with lawns and mature trees, the architecture tells a story of agricultural history. Its terracotta roof and stone walls have been lovingly restored, while the former stable now sits alongside landscaped gardens, two terraces, and a glistening private pool. From here, wander inside through French doors, where you’ll be taken aback by the elegant interiors. A far cry from a country retreat, the lounge is an opulent space with cream walls, soft lighting, and a marbled chandelier. While there are nods to a rustic past – such as the iron fireplace and vintage-style furniture – understated, modern elegance dominates the decor. Let the private chef cook dinner as you enjoy luxe country living at its best.

Host
This home is managed by Oliver
This home is managed directly by a business. A member of their staff will be your point of contact before and during your stay. Nearly twenty years ago, Oliver and his friend began curating the world's most unique and rustic getaways. Driven by their own unforgettable experience at a chateau, they have grown remarkably since then. Much like Plum, they believe in hand-picked luxury that doesn't break the bank.
