Take in the fabulous views over sought-after Chiado and the River Tagus with a glass of rosé wine when you stay at this home – we love the traditional tiles out here on the balcony. Inside, there are warm wood floors, window shutters, modern artworks and an array of plants creating a stylish interior. Two sets of French doors allow light to flood in, and there's plenty of entertaining space in the large open plan living area for your family or friends. When you're ready to explore, perhaps start by browsing the chic boutiques in this neighbourhood. Then stop off for lunch at one of Chiado's fine-dining restaurants. Afterwards, a two-minute stroll will take you to Praça Luís de Camões with its statues of Portuguese literary icons, while the National Theatre of São Carlos is five minutes on foot. The Elevador De Santa Justa, on the other hand, is a ten-minute saunter, or head to the iconic Lisbon Cathedral, under a twenty-minute walk away.

About Chiado
Chiado is full of old-world charm, and is one of the best-loved parts of Lisbon. Think pastel-hued homes, cobbled streets and plenty of squares to soak up the atmosphere. There’s a slower pace of life in Chiado, which is why it’s so popular with locals. Hop on a tram to take in the open-air ruin of the Camo church, a Gothic masterpiece that was mostly destroyed in an earthquake, or hit the shops – this is one of Lisbon’s best shopping districts, after all.
