A stunning stone house with acres of lush land and a swimming pool – do holiday homes get any better than this? There’s a forest area to the rear of the property, which is wonderful for walks, and there are peacocks, sheep and horses on the land too – there’s no need to make their acquaintance unless you want to though. The home is spacious, light and stylish, with quirky design details that show the owners’ passion for all things two-wheeled – check out the Rieju bike and the fully functioning bike workshop. Best of all though, there's a splendid saltwater pool surrounded by sun loungers and sunshine. A trip to Maria de la Salut’s Friday market is a great way to live like a local. Be sure to check out the 16th-century church on your way to the town square, where you can tuck into some local delicacies and sip wine. Can Picafort beach is just a fifteen-minute drive from the villa, so snorkelling and sandcastles are well within reach. Spend your evenings in town, or make the most of the villa’s outdoor space and dine under the pergola. The barbecue is ideal for easy dinners, and a great way to sample the local produce from the market.
