Paros is a gem of the Aegean Sea, with beaches and rugged cliffs lining its spectacular coast. Historically, the land was rich in fine Parian marble, used to create some of antiquity’s most important statues. And on the theme of artisan craftsmanship, this immaculate villa, a four-minute walk from Nea Chrisi Akti Beach and a twenty-five-minute drive from the capital of Parikia, is a fabulous base for exploring the island. Just one-hundred metres from the glistening sea, this stone structure looks every bit the traditional Greek home. Set among colourful flowers, fields, and with views out to the neighbouring island of Naxos, this small complex of villas feels like a tiny village. We love the vast exteriors, with natural stone tiles, wooden sun loungers, and a swimming pool if you're not quite ready for the open waters. Luxury Bali beds and a barbecue complete the outdoor offering, while shaded verandahs and terraces make for an excellent in-between. After dark, head inside to prepare some cocktails and olives for a digestif. As you glide across the cool floors, made of local marble, to serve up some treats in the lounge, you’ll love admiring unique pieces of art and wooden sculptures on the... way.
