Located on a gated estate, this home was first built in 1925, and later completely restored. With large gardens that are home to over a hundred different kinds of trees, this villa is perfect for a peaceful and private holiday. Wake up each morning to enjoy the fantastic panoramic mountain views, then enjoy everything the villa has to offer. Swim in the large infinity pool, lounge in the sunshine, enjoy a game in the play room, or work up a sweat with the fitness equipment. Spend days on the beach – which can be reached in eighteen-minutes by car, or explore the history and culture of Crete. Tylissos – a quiet inland village known for its archaeological area – is a short eight-minute drive from your door. Here, shaded by pines, you will find the ruins of three palatial Minoan villas, an aqueduct, a handful of churches, plus cafes, bakeries, and small shops. Further afield, reachable in twenty-seven minutes by car, you can also visit Heraklion, which is famous for the incredible Palace of Knossos, just outside the city. In the evening, why not take full advantage of the private vegetable garden that is at your disposal, and pick some fresh,... local produce? Cook a delicious meal and dine alfresco as the sun sets. Then, on warmer nights, enjoy a refreshing glass of wine as the garden and pool area is lit up, offering a night-time scene to admire.
