One of the island’s natural wonders, the Melissani Lake Cave, is a five-minute walk away too, where the sunshine illuminates a secluded gave lake until it glows ethereally blue. It’s also just a four-minute drive (or half-hour walk) to the port town of Sami, where the ferry leaves to the mainland and a few other islands. The apartment is set in an exclusive resort, with access to a shared swimming pool should you tire of days on the beach. The interior feels natural and warm, in slate-grey and ombre hues.
