When you’re planning on spending more than a few days in a new city, it’s important to have a comfortable home base. This lovely apartment is just that – it’s the perfect home from home. The apartment is in the L’Hospitalet de Llobregat suburb of Barcelona, with excellent transport links. You can zip in and out of the city centre on the metro with absolute ease, but when you’ve finished exploring for the day, you can return to a quiet neighbourhood to relax away from the crowds. The apartment is tranquil, with everything you might need for your stay. The bright and airy living space is flooded with light from the balcony, which is the perfect place to start your day – don’t forget your coffee. The double bedroom also has a cute little balcony, ideal for those moments of peace and quiet after a hectic day. The Torrassa metro station is just a six-minute walk away – you can reach sights like La Sagrada Familia in twenty-two minutes. For excellent views, hop in a cab for twenty-three minutes to Montjuïc Castle. The views of the port and out to sea are spectacular – why not take a picnic to... enjoy while there? Football fans will be delighted to be within walking distance of Camp Nou – it’s only fourteen minutes away. Take in a match or mooch around the museum, and pop into a bar for tapas on your way back.
