If you're looking for a holiday home with a difference then this house, in the tranquil surroundings of Glen Dye, is the perfect pick. With a range of thoughtful amenities and an excellent location right on the doorstep of the highlands, you'll settle in within no time at all. There's a distinctly quirky feel to the house, which combines rustic furnishings with more modern touches – think wood paneling meets bold framed posters. For chilly evenings, there's a stove that will keep you toasty as you sip a wee dram, and your hosts will even provide the firewood. At the back of the home you'll find a games room, along with a Swedish hot tub for long, luxurious soaks under the stars. And, there's even a vegetable patch, a sauna, and a BYOB pub on-site for you to use, and perhaps make friends with your neighbours too. From here, you can drive to the Cairngorms National Park in just twenty minutes, to experience the very best that Scotland has to offer. Enjoy an invigorating hike through the rugged mountain landscapes, or hop on your bike to explore the wilderness on two wheels. And, if you want to head for the... coast, you can drive to the pretty seaside town of Stonehaven within half an hour for fresh fish and chips on the beach.

About Angus
Ancient fishing villages and craggy mountains mark the borders of the pretty county of Angus. It spans from the East Coast to the Cairngorms National Park. Foodies shouldn’t miss supping on a traditional Arbroath smokie in the town it was named after – picked up from the fish shops on the harbourfront. In Arbroath you’ll also find an ancient, crumbling abbey and access to clifftop walks where the North Sea...

Host
This home is managed by Audrey
This home is managed directly by its owner who will be your point of contact before and during your stay. Back in 1990, your hosts Charlie and Caroline left their jobs in music and design and moved from South London to Glen Dye. This was a no-brainer as they'd always dreamed of living their lives in the countryside surrounded by children, dogs, chickens and horses. So after twenty years of scheming, dreaming and planning, the pair launched Glen Dye Cabins & Cottages, where they now invite guests to come and soak up the magic of Glen Dye at the many renovated properties on their estate..
