Out here, it’s pure peace and quiet, but you can head to Kritika Beach, a five-minute drive or half-hour walk away for a day on this popular stretch of sand. Or, head into the buzzing coastal town of Methoni for local tavernas and an ancient castle overlooking the beach (it’s a seven-minute drive). Days here are designed to be spent outdoors. Your little studio may be kitted out with everything you need for a relaxing break – a full kitchen, comfy bed and distinctly Greecian traditional decor – but it’s the terrace that takes the biscuit. Flamingo-pink patio furniture enjoys an exceptional view of the surrounding countryside. Then there are the shared facilities for the whole complex. A turquoise pool invites you for a dip, and there’s a bar onsite for sundowners, snacks and your morning coffee.
