This snug studio may be pocket-sized, but what it lacks in space, it more than makes up for in style. Skylights in the eaves, a rainfall shower in the bathroom, a compact yet contemporary kitchen fit for rustling up light bites – it's got everything you'll need for a chic getaway. We love the pink sofa, where you can kick back after a long day on your feet with a glass of Italy's best wine, as well as the comfortable bed, where you can snuggle up for a restful night's sleep. It's situated on the top floor of a former palace, so although the flat is super modern, the communal hallways and exterior radiate old-world charm. Right in the beating heart of Bologna, the location is as perfect as can be. Exploring on foot is easy from this central spot – first, stroll over to the famous Two Towers eleven minutes away before grabbing an espresso at the cafes in Piazza Maggiore. After lunch, browse the halls and galleries at the many museums in town, then end the evening with a delicious dinner and a nightcap at the array of restaurants, bars and eateries on your doorstep.
