Some places just have star quality and this stunning home nestled amidst the lush greenery of Hollywood Hills is certainly one such place. Built by a Hollywood luminary in 1934, at the height of the Golden Age of the movies, this gem still retains the aura of those glory days while at the same time emanating modern luxury and comfort. Sitting on a promontory with full canyon views and full city views from downtown to the water, arrive to be greeted by the breathtaking vistas of LA you can marvel at from the terrace and garden. The outdoor area itself is enough to fall in love with this home – wander down the enchanted green paths lost among old trees and carefully maintained shrubbery. And then there’s the pool which is another highlight: you’ll be able to take a dip in complete privacy, gazing at the hills and nature around you. Built in the Cape Cod style, all rooms have direct access to the garden and pool outside. Evenings are especially magical here: gather everyone for drinks and barbecue suppers under the stars while the City of Angles sparkles down below. Step inside and be instantly wowed by the classic... elegance and cosy ambience of the interior. We love the original features which include wood-beamed ceilings, art deco windows, gorgeous wall carvings and opulent fireplaces. Feel at home with the comfy furnishings and plenty of secret nooks to curl up in. The kitchen is yet another showstopper: huge and beautifully furnished, it’ll no doubt inspire you to create delicious feasts you’ll want to share with your friends and family. Sweet dreams and restful sleep will come courtesy of the plush bedrooms which offer more than a taste of luxury. Awake feeling like an old-time movie star and head out to have your breakfast on the terrace. When you’re ready to go out and explore you’ll find yourself in the prime location for visiting all the Hollywood hotspots as well as its historic sights, with Hollywood Boulevard a mere five-minute drive away.
