Stepping through the front door of this converted rectory is transformative. It’s the kind of space that inspires you to pause and savour the presence that makes this space unique. Once home to celebrated 18th Century illustrator John Hassall, the artist’s light remains but with a bohemian flair. Now it’s an oasis in the heart of Notting Hill – a place to rest, relax and be inspired. No doubt the expansive central studio will captivate you from the moment you arrive – light spills in through the conservatory windows, bringing a wonderful sense of freedom and openness to this space. You’ll love sitting here in the morning, watching the trees dance outside and then later as the sun sets with drinks in hand – the table is perfect for intimate candlelit dinners. And when you’re ready to explore beyond this peaceful sanctuary, it’s just a short stroll to Portobello Road and Notting Hill’s abundant selection of cafes and restaurants. You’ll also find leafy Holland Park and Kensington Gardens less than twenty–minutes away.

About Notting Hill
Notting Hill is much loved by residents and visitors alike and it's not hard to see why. Home to the famous Portobello Market and beautiful tree-lined streets of pastel coloured houses made famous by the eponymous film, nothing beats a stroll through the area on a crisp day. Good food, antiques shops and bars aplenty, you won't easily get bored in this part of town. Portobello Road itself does get...

Grab a Coffee from Farm Girl Café
Shiny blue tiles and a sunny courtyard, this is definitely a feel good café. Delicious, nutritious superfoods are on the menu but don’t let the healthiness put you off.
Start your day at Eggbreak
Prepare yourself for a higher level education on egg-based recipes. Try the pork belly brioche bap topped with a poached egg. Come early in your trip as you might want to repeat.
Dine at the Electric Diner

Try Top nosh at Granger & Co.
Aussie chef Bill Granger’s troops serve up superb food, wine, and coffees in this bustling corner location. Get there early to beat the morning queues and relish an epic brunch.
Catch a film at Electric Cinema
Not your average cinema: think large, comfy red velvet armchairs, front row beds for cosy couples, an Edwardian Baroque-style interior & cocktails delivered to your chair. Sound like a plan?
Visit the Museum of Brands
Remember when Mars Bars used to be 10p? It’s all there, the brands and packs, radios and ads, fads, sweets, toys and games. Evocative and inspiring, it’s a kaleidoscope of images and brands.
Try the best tacos in town at Taqueria
Celebrate your London trip with a Latino vibe and deliciously confectioned tacos.
Explore The Tabernacle
A stunning red-brick former church offering a community theatre, exhibition space, dance studio, and all-day dining. Enjoy a delicious vegan roti wrap or relax in the outdoor seating area.
Grab a green meal at Farmacy
A leafy café with a retro vibe which attends to the needs of vegetarians, vegans, and other tribes with maximum style.
