Sitting on what was once the noble floor of a stately palace that dates way back to the end of the 8th century, this elegantly appointed apartment is a stylish presence in Milan. The double-height living room is full of bright yellow artwork, flourishing house plants and some rather chic furnishings. In addition to this, guests also get access to a mezzanine bedroom made extra-cosy through the use of dark wood panels and a pristinely tiled bathroom. It must be said that the kitchen lies on the more compact side, but there's just enough space to cook up modest dinners. During summer afternoons, there's a balcony on which you can sit and enjoy a burst of fresh air, but there's also a wealth of green space around Castello Sforzesco six minutes' walk away and in Parco Sempione lying just behind the fortress. The exhibition halls of Pinacoteca di Brera and the operatic shows of Teatro Alla Scala can both be reached in under ten minutes on foot.

About Brera
Brera is to Milan what Montmartre is to Paris, the most bohemian and romantic place in town. Far from the avant-garde scene, this district has conserved its beauty and it remains the most exclusive place to stay, right in the city centre. During the day, visitors parade on the cobbled streets, and gather around art galleries, elegant boutiques, and fine restaurants. Brera has maintained the exquisite flavour of its bohemian...
