A pastel-hued Pombaline facade provides the framework for this exquisitely renovated home right in the heart of Lisbon. You couldn't ask for a better location, nestled in the historic centre and just a five-minute stroll from the city's most photographed street, the Bica Funicular. Here, you're within walking distance of the main sights and surrounded by cafes, bars and eateries. As far as stellar first impressions go, this home certainly delivers. You'll be smitten as soon as you arrive at its elegant azulejo-tiled entryway and ascend its sweeping staircase. The interior is a masterclass in design, striking the perfect balance between contemporary comfort and authentic charm. Primed for relaxation, a timeless canvas of floor-to-ceiling French doors, shiny hardwood floors, and intricately moulded high ceilings sets an ambience of calm. Stylish decor, plush upholstery and antique touches adorn the free-flowing lounge and dining room, and we love the state-of-the-art kitchen, with its shiny marble countertops, copper hardware and majestic stove. After a restful slumber in luxury linens, spend mornings roosted at the breakfast bar, tucking into coffee and pastries before slipping out to explore.

About Saldanha
Saldanha is the uptown business district of Lisbon, filled with designer shops and upscale restaurants that contrast the modern buildings where many locals spend their working days. But it's not like Saldanha closes down after five – there's plenty of residents who appreciate the neighbourhood's sleek look. As a consequence, Saldanha has a great fresh food market, a few cosy cafes, parks and everything else you might need for a great stay. The traffic connections are fast and abundant, meaning most parts of Central Lisbon are only a short train ride away.
