Do you have a question about this home or the local area?
From the red brick facade of the 19th-century bullring of Campo Pequeno, it’s hard to believe that just an eight-minute walk would take you to such a deluxe, modern apartment. In the north of the city, slightly off the tourist track, you’ll also find other lesser-known charms such as the Calouste Gulbenkian Garden – a sculpture park and museum – twelve minutes away. But with the historic centre less than twenty minutes away by metro, you're not exactly missing out on much. After exploring the delights of Lisbon (and feeling full of pastéis de nata) arriving home to this spacious apartment is a dream. The grand living space features animal skin rugs and mid-century seating along with a modern, perspex coffee table. This mixture of eras and styles creates a sophisticated space where you can relax with a glass of douro on the sofa, or perch on the balcony with a vinho verde. Draw yourself away from the views of the vibrant, pink of the neighbouring buildings, and head in to freshen up in Portuguese white marble bathrooms. And for a final flourish, the dining space is ready to host elegant dinner parties – why not try cooking bacalhau à Brás to... really set the scene?

About Areeiro
Those looking for an authentic stay in Lisbon would be wise to opt for Areeiro. But what it does have is plenty of traditional charm, which it has managed to retain despite the city’s fast modernisation. Ideal for those who want to avoid hustle...
