Located in Piesendorf – just a ten-minute drive from the picturesque lakeside town of Zell am See – this comfortable apartment offers a relaxing base for those looking to slow down alongside schussing the slopes. Inside, modern comforts meet chalet chic with wood floors, mountain scenery art prints, and an inviting contemporary decor. We love the decorative skis hanging on the wall and the dazzling amount of light that pours in through the large glass doors next to the sofa. Slide these open to step out onto a private balcony – the ideal spot to begin mornings over a fresh cup of coffee or to sip a glühwein while watching the snow fall against your towering mountain backdrop. With a pared-back yet wonderfully comfy bedroom to retreat to at the end of the night, not to mention the building’s fabulous shared facilities – including a Finnish sauna, an organic herbal sauna, a fitness room and a relaxation space – you’ve got everything you need for a blissful stay. When it comes to things to see and do nearby, you’ve got plenty from which to choose. The ski bus conveniently stops in front of the building allowing you... to take advantage of the top-notch skiing in the area, notably at Kitzsteinhorn (a seven-minute drive), Schmittenhöhebahn (also a seven-minute drive) and Saalbach-Hinterglemm (a twenty-five-minute drive). During the summer months, you’ve also got a wealth of beautiful spots to discover – many of which are free to visit with the National Park Summer Card provided – including countless hiking trails lacing through the forest just 100 metres away, as well as the Grossglockner High Alpine Road (fifty minutes away by car), Uttendorf’s swimming lake (a ten-minute drive) and the narrow-gauge Pinzgauer Lokalbahn (an eight-minute drive).
