A light-filled retreat surrounded by wildflowers, this charming cottage is on the fringe of the sprawling moorlands of Exmoor National Park and only thirty minutes from the sandy Saunton coast. This idyllic location gives you prime rural privacy, with effortless access to hiking trails, cycling paths, quaint hamlets and the shores of the North Devon Coast. Inside, modern rustic charm awaits with exposed beam ceilings and a wood-burning fireplace that beckons cosy evenings on the sofa with a glass of wine and a few games of chess. The contemporary and country-style decor spreads to the bedroom where you’ll find your exposed stonework and french doors opening out to your private terrace, surrounded by bounding fields and a plethora of wildlife. On sunny mornings, whip up some eggs - the hamlet shop is a six-minute drive - and enjoy on the deck before heading out to explore the abundance of nature in the North Devon area. You’ll be spoilt for choice when it comes to scenic walks, from trails through forested woods and paths proffering stunning views leading to the Heddon Valley (a twenty-five-minute drive away). You’re also only twenty-five minutes from the South West Coast Path where you can track the Jurassic...
