This charming apartment is tucked away in the heart of the Peak District. It’s the perfect base for a couple looking to spend a few romantic days away in the countryside. Beautiful Bakewell is a fourteen-minute drive, and Chatsworth House, with its rich history and stunning gardens, is eighteen minutes away. This is a home with comfort at its heart. After days spent touring historic houses and meandering around scenic villages, it’s a delight to return to. You might spend the morning hiking in the countryside surrounding the farm, and then head back here to curl up with a good book. The courtyard garden is a lovely spot for an alfresco lunch, and boasts gorgeous views. In the evening, stroll thirteen minutes to the local pub for a pint by the roaring fire. You can dine there or back at the apartment, enjoying the cosy open-plan living and dining space. Later on, sink into the oh-so-comfortable bed – you’re guaranteed a peaceful night’s sleep here.
