Perfectly positioned in the heart of Rome, this contemporary pad is in a pretty unbeatable location. The city's endless array of restaurants, shops and museums are a short walk away, but that's not the only reason we love this neighbourhood. You can wander to the Trevi Fountain in six minutes, stroll through the tremendous Villa Borghese in ten, and shop for provincial produce in Campo de' Fiori in twenty-five minutes, flat. Gives a whole new meaning to the saying 'when in Rome', doesn't it? After a busy day of sightseeing, pour yourself a glass of red wine and unwind with some locally-sourced gastronomic goodies in the open-plan living area. Decorated in soft cream shades and featuring sumptuous sofas and traditionally-shuttered windows, the lounge radiates relaxation and charm. The kitchen isn't the biggest in our collection, but it's well-equipped if you're in the mood to rustle up a light breakfast or quick lunch. Meanwhile, the bedrooms are comfortable and cosy – just the ticket following a long afternoon on your feet. We think it's an ideal laid-back getaway in Italy's buzzing capital.
