When visiting a city as rich in sights as Rome, it’s important to take some time to yourself to recharge your batteries. This apartment has not one, but two terraces for you to relax on – it’s a marvellous base for your city break. Wake up in the morning feeling refreshed after a superb night’s sleep in an oh-so-comfortable bed, and move straight out to the balcony just off the master bedroom. Sip coffee and eat pastries and fresh fruit while you soak up a moment of tranquillity. Will you spend your day visiting museums and galleries, or brave the heat of the Colosseum and the Roman Forum? Villa Borghese and its stunning gardens are a mere six-minute walk from the apartment, so it’s a lovely place to start your day. Lively Piazza di Spagna is similarly close, just seven minutes away on foot. There you can watch the world go by from a cafe or restaurant, and revel in the atmosphere of this fabulous city. In the afternoon, head back to the apartment. Take a book and glass of lemonade up to the terrace and sunbathe in peace, feeling a million miles from the crowds of the city below....
