If you're looking for a unique place to stay in the city of York, look no further. This former malthouse has been converted into a fantastic holiday home, with plenty of character that will please even the most discerning of guests. The Grade-II listed building dates back to the 19th century, and you can admire the traditional equipment still on show today. However, there is plenty of modern charm here too – you'll love the comfy sofa and bright green kitchen where you can cook up your favourite dishes. After a delicious meal at the stylish dining bench, you can head downstairs to the games room for some fun. Challenge your guests to a round of pool, or simply chill out on the beanbags as you plan your itinerary for the following day. Walk across the River Ouse, and you'll arrive in the vibrant heart of York. The Shambles is a twelve-minute stroll away from your front door, where you can browse the quirky boutiques lining the cobbled streets. Make sure you pay a visit to the impressive York Minster too and take a stroll through Museum Gardens, before sipping a pint of local ale at one of the city's... quaint pubs.
