When it comes to rest and relaxation, the sky’s the limit here in this beautifully bright apartment in Paris’ 19th arrondissement. Awash with light and boasting a keen eye for design, you’ll have no trouble making yourself at home in this cool, laid-back space. Step into the downstairs living area to be met with a chilled-out area curated with a slick, contemporary feel. Make yourself comfortable on the Sienna sofa with a glass of wine while admiring the rooftop views from the French windows and their Juliet balconies, or gather around the tulip table for a chic soirée. Climb the spiral staircase, however, and you’ll find our favourite spot – the mezzanine snug topped with a large Velux skylight that slides fully open to create the ultimate sun-trap. Undeniably ninth tenths a rooftop terrace, soak up panoramic rooftop views from the comfort of the corner sofa or float beneath blue skies on the hammock, a good book and a cool drink in hand. There’s a piano here too should you fancy a tinkle on the ivories, while the upstairs study room is the perfect spot to secret yourself away should you need to catch up on work. ...

About Canal Saint Martin - Oberkampf

Canal Saint Martin is to Paris what Williamsburg once was to New York or Shoreditch was to London. This part of town still retains a certain grittiness that has been largely lost from the abovementioned counterparts - gentrification is undoubtedly on its way but the area still feels authentic and edgy so get there before this changes! You'll be rubbing shoulders with Paris's hippest young things, smoking and drinking outside...
