Do you have a question about this home or the local area?
If you love seeing a city like the locals do, without being far from hotspots and sites, this is the apartment for you. In this home, you're away from the hustle and bustle of the city centre, while being close enough to see it all with ease. It's just a three-minute walk to the nearest Metro stop, your gateway to all of Madrid. Or if you fancy taking the city by foot, you're within a half-an-hour walk from most of the main sites, including Plaza Mayor and El Retiro Park. Plus, staying in a residential area nearly always means more bang for your buck and in this home, you get a beautiful large terrace with ample seating for relaxing, entertaining, and soaking up the sun. The terrace is accessible from practically every room in the apartment – the kitchen, living room, and bedroom all have a handy patio door. And these doors let in a beautiful light which illuminates the whole home, namely the tall gallery white walls. Sleek, comfortable furniture and artistic decor make this home a beautiful place to stay, but we imagine you'll spend most of your time on your terrace or exploring the city. You're a twenty-five-minute... walk from what's considered the gate to the historic centre – the Puerta del Sol. Soak in the grand architecture, a blend of neoclassical and neo-gothic. But you don't even have to go that far to enjoy Madrid's rich cultural scene, you're just a nine-minute walk to Reina Sofia Museum, Spain's national museum of 20th-century art. The luscious Royal Botanical Gardens are just a fourteen-minute walk away, too. There's so much to explore in Spain's capital, but you'll love coming home to your oasis in the city. Channel your inner chef and enjoy homecooked meals and a few glasses of wine around the outdoor dining table, or head out to one of the area's many laid-back tapas bars.

About Atocha
When thinking of Atocha, the mammoth train station immediately comes to mind. While it’s a transport hub connecting Madrid to all others parts of Spain, its appeal lies in more than just logistics. The station itself is full of restaurants (some are the best in the area), and the sprawling streets around it will slowly lead to some of the best museums in town. Staying here will place you within walking distance of Prado, The Reina Sofia Museum, and Retiro Park.
