Sitting among five acres of grounds in the heart of rural Istria, this marvellous address has stood on this idyllic site since the 19th century. Indeed, there's quite a rustic flavour to the interior what with all the wooden beams and exposed brickwork, but it's fair to say that quite a few changes have been made in the century or so since. Some of these can be found outside, such as with the swimming pool surrounded by loungers and a dining table – thankfully, there's a pretty impressive outdoor kitchen out here as well so you really embrace the alfresco way of life. However, there are plenty of modern amenities to be found inside, including a games room complete with shuffleboard, darts board and PS5.
