Amidst the red rooftops and verdant greenery of Sevid, this villa sits on Croatia’s beautiful Dalmatian Coast. It’s a ten-minute walk to Sevid’s sweep of bone-white pebble beach where the horseshoe bay sheltered by hills is perfect for swimming. This coastal village is home to a handful of beach bars, local tavernas and cafés. If you fancy a day of culture and history, the centre of Split is just under an hour’s drive away. The gardens and terraces are tiered, starting with a kids' playpark at the bottom with a basketball court and stone-built oven for barbecue lunches. Next comes the pool terrace, lined with loungers. Then the top terraces and balconies are home to plush outdoor lounges, a gym and a bubbling hot tub crowning the rooftop terrace. From up here, the view over the bay to Otočić Skoljić island is simply sublime. Inside, it’s a medley of vintage velvet furniture and mid-century tufted splendour. The plush dining chairs wouldn’t be out of place in a 1960s entertainer’s mansion. The kitchen in the open-plan living area is a delight to cook in, with ink-black and raw wood on display.
