Looking across the River Foss to Clifford’s Tower perched on a hilltop, this luxurious little apartment puts you in the centre of the city. Walk along the banks of the River Foss and past the ramshackle old streets to reach the central Shambles market in just six minutes. The Minster is just beyond, a ten-minute walk from the apartment. From the apartment’s balcony, you’ve got uninterrupted views over the Foss River to Clifford’s Tower – a 13th-century fortification sitting atop a hill. This is the perfect spot for a drink or two at the end of the day. River views continue inside, where floor-to-ceiling windows in the living room flood the place with natural light. Hardwood floors add a classy touch, and the underfloor heating is a delight in the winter months. The open-plan living area feels spacious and sleek, and the master bedroom is particularly plush with its chaise longue and desk should you need to work remotely.
