With a colourful history dating back to the 18th century, this dreamy Cotswolds retreat has been freshly restored from top to bottom, creating a cosy space packed with contemporary comforts. Proud and handsome with a serene surround, from the outside, this place is picture–perfect. Mounds of luscious green ivy canopy the sage front door and the elongated picture windows tease a glimpse of what’s inside… As we weave our way from room to room, it’s clear to see that this place is so much more than just a pretty front cover. Exposed timbers and stone walls show off the home’s original charm, meanwhile the natural oak floors and soothing, neutral colour scheme create a relaxing space to unwind. We love the dining room. With its traditional, lanterned ceiling and large wooden table, there’s no better place to enjoy a spot of evening entertainment with friends and family. Gather around, pop open the bubbly and while the night away with board games, nibbles, fun and laughter before sprawling out in your snuggly bed for a well–deserved night’s sleep. For those visiting during the cooler months, the wood burning stove promises to keep you toasty and snug, meanwhile in the summer, the south–facing garden presents... the ideal spot to soak up the sun. With a pretty pond and not one, but two terraces, whether you’re planning on some al fresco dining or you’re watching the sunset over a glass of red, one thing’s for sure, you couldn’t wish for a more idyllic setting to unwind.
