You'll find this sunny apartment just outside of Porto's buzzing city centre. Although it's a little ways from the historical hot spots – about thirty minutes on foot from Sé do Porto and thirty-five from Cais da Ribeira – we think Campanhã has something for everyone. There are trendy art galleries, charming sidewalk cafes and local eateries aplenty. For those wanting to stray from the typical tourist haunts, this is an excellent base, especially with Campanhã Station just a short stroll away providing easy links to the Douro River and the centre. When you're not out and about exploring Porto, make the most of the gorgeous weather and unwind on the private terrace. Decorated with pretty flower boxes and chic wooden seating, we think it's a sweet spot to sip your morning coffee or relish the city sunsets come evening with a glass of Porto's sweet red wine. As the night draws to a close, head inside and sprawl out on the mid-century style sofa. Fancy cooking? Rustle up Piri-Piri chicken in the kitchen, then pull up a chair and gather around the dining table for a delicious meal – your host can also arrange traditional chefs and catering options.... Later, rinse off and relax underneath the rainfall shower before crawling into the cosy beds for a restful night's sleep, dreaming about tomorrow's adventures.
