For foodies visiting Porto, the location doesn’t get much better than this. It’s a two-minute walk from the restaurant and shop-lined Rua Santa Catarina and the streets around the apartment are filled with spots serving local Portuguese cuisine. It’s also just a four-minute walk to Mercado do Bolhão with its fresh produce stalls galore. Stock up and head back to your haven in the city centre. A fully-equipped kitchen can turn that fresh veg into a hearty family feast in no time and dining is a delight in the sunny spot. The living room is sleek and minimalist with two slate-grey sectionals providing plenty of room for everyone. From here, you can admire the rooftop view out the window. A nice touch is the vintage TV cabinet, which hides a record player to set the right ambience. Wooden floors and cornicing like icing on a cake in the bedrooms feel distinctly classic Porto.
