Calling all serious shoppers. This stylish apartment, housed in a recently renovated 20th-century building, is located right next to Rua Santa Catarina with its international stores, while Mercado do Bolhão, a three-minute walk away, has an array of fresh produce and souvenir stalls. For culture lovers, the Chapel of Souls is a two-minute stroll with its beautiful azulejo tiled façade. Other attractions nearby include Porto Cathedral, which is fourteen minutes on foot. You can't come to Porto without sampling some Port, right? Luckily, there's a small port wine shop opposite this home, so take some back to this apartment. Relax on the comfy sofa with your tipple in the light-filled open plan living space with its wooden floors, high ceilings and sansevieria plants. We love the French doors, which open onto the small balustraded balcony overlooking the street. If you prefer to eat in, rustle up the local staple, a francesinha sandwich (it's more substantial than it sounds) in the modern kitchen and enjoy it at your dining table. This place is ideal for a couple, solo traveller or business professional looking for a fantastic location.
