Located on one of Paris' most prestigious streets, the Rue de Rivoli, this lavish home is just a stone's throw from the Tuileries Gardens. Its location alone is enough reason for us to praise it to the skies. Nestled in the heart of the first arrondissement, it sits amidst elegant Haussmannian architecture housing high-end dining, drinking and shopping venues, not to mention the incomparable Louvre Museum, just four minutes away on foot. Tucked away from the tourist flurry and overlooking a quiet courtyard, this home feels delightfully peaceful despite its central location. The interior is exquisite, truly. Think high, intricately carved ceilings, herringbone parquet floors and marble fireplaces, all bundled up in a sophisticated colour story of earthy neutral tones. An open-plan layout and floor-to-ceiling windows, ushering in floods of sunlight, create a free-flowing ambience primed for relaxation. Between adventures, kick back in the living space, with its plush designer seating, smart TV and SONOS audio system, and we especially love the chic, fully-equipped kitchen, so discrete it almost feels like a work of art. Two en-suite bedrooms promise restful slumbers with their hotel-quality linens, luxury toiletries and even a hammam steam bath – the perfect way to unwind after... a busy day in the city.

Local guide
About Louvre - Palais Royal
Where to begin with one of Paris's most majestic and central districts? This was the stomping ground of historic kings, and now its grand palaces and squares are home to museums, galleries, government offices, and luxury shopping. With no fewer than three Royal palaces, the attractions are plentiful in this neck of the woods. If checking out the Mona Lisa with throngs of tourists isn't your thing, we recommend exploring some of the area's quieter hidden gems. Colonnes de Burennes has a gorgeous secret square and Alain Ducasse's world-famous French restaurant 'Le Meurice' is just around the corner.
