Do you have a question about this home or the local area?
Found in a beautiful, early 1900s period building near the very heart of Milan, this home has a definite allure to it. Perhaps it's in the way it stays true to its roots with the parquet flooring and large, shuttered windows, or maybe it's in the elegance with which it has been renovated, or, it’s a very real possibility that the charm comes from the balance between the old and the new. Rise with the sun and open every window and balcony door to let the breeze carry in the sounds of Milan as you get to work on breakfast in the compact kitchen. Scramble eggs and brew fresh coffee to enjoy at the striking dining table. Read by the light of the window or, better yet, take your novel onto the balcony as you enjoy a drink with a good helping of fresh air and sunshine. Close to Central Station, Milan is at your fingertips and you can get anywhere in a matter of minutes by using public transport. If you’d like to explore everything on foot though, you can start by walking around thirty minutes toward Duomo to see the cathedral, and some of the other sites aren’t... too far from there. Enjoy lunch out at one of the local restaurants before slowly making your way back to enjoy the sunset from the sofa with a glass of wine.

Local guide
About Corso Buenos Aires
Corso Buenos Aires is the "high street" shopping area of Milan. This is not the place for super high-end brands (go to Quadrilatero if that's what you're after) - it's more Zara, H&M, Boggi, where you go to get your fast-fashion fix. It's perhaps not the most exciting area of the city, but it's still nice, and it's not a long journey into the more quaint parts of the historical centre.
