Inside, you can't help but swoon over the comfortable and chic spaces. Unwind with a good book in the window seat, or throw a log on the wood-burner and snuggle up on the leather sofa for a Netflix movie night. For dinner, rustle up something tasty in the kitchen – this area is home to some of the country's best seafood – or head down to the local pub, just one minute away, when you don't fancy cooking. Speaking of location, you've got the Dart Valley at your fingertips. You're just a stone's throw from the quayside, where you can hop on a ferry to Dartmouth and Greenway. Craving sand and sun? • There's no free parking at this home, but you can use two nearby car parks about 300m away, with one situated on a steep hill – there's also free street parking along Riverside Road, and you'll be able to pull up in front of the cottage to unload your car

• One small, well-behaved dog is welcome to join you for an additional £25 per week, with prior approval from your host
