This cosy apartment is perfectly placed for a wholesome escape in the English capital. It's set in Hampstead – a leafy suburb that feels like its own town within London – with traditional pubs, quaint coffee shops and vintage shops nearby. It marries the tranquility of a country town with the excitement and convenience of a sprawling metropolis. Further along the high street, the lush greenery of Hampstead Heath is only a ten-minute walk away. Spend sunny days with a picnic on the grass or go for a dip in the fresh ponds to cool off. If you want a breathtaking view of London, head to the top of Parliament Hill to see the skyscrapers emblazon the skyline. Be warned, that view inspires you to make your way into the centre of the city. Soho, Kings Cross and Camden are all easily reached via public transport, or you can venture further towards the cool districts of East London. However you spend your day in this thriving city, rest any weary legs in the modern comfort of the apartment. A TV is accompanied by a comfy sofa and dining table in a snug open-plan living space. Cosy and intimate, it's a restful spot... to relax with a film, book or casual chit-chat.

About Hampstead
Hampstead is pretty irresistable. It's not right in the centre of London but it's a real oasis to come back to at the end of a day of hectic sightseeing and there's plenty to explore here in its own right. Your neighbours will be a mix of affluent intellectual types: London's top psychiatrists, book publishers, writers etc. They are attracted by Hampstead's village atmosphere, vast array of characterful period houses, independent shops and restaurants and, last but by no means least, the delights of the vast green expanses of Hampstead Heath, with its much-loved wild swimming ponds.
