Traditional touches meet contemporary style at this chic Madrid apartment. Located in the Centro district, right in the heart of the city, it's the ideal place to unwind between your adventures in the Spanish capital. You'll love the traditional wooden beams, tiled floor, and large French windows that flood the space with natural light. You can admire the street views below from the Juliet balcony, before getting comfy on the sofa with a glass of Rioja. And, when hunger strikes, the pretty blue kitchen is well-equipped, so you can rustle up some of your favourite dishes. Plaza Mayor, Madrid's buzzing main square, is just a street away, and is the perfect first stop on your sightseeing schedule. You can also wander over to the Royal Palace and the adjacent baroque cathedral – they're must-sees for culture fans. Or, head in the opposite direction, to spend some time at the Museo Nacional del Prado before strolling through the city's marvellous botanical gardens.

About Puerta del Sol
Puerta del Sol is the epicentre of the city and home to Madrid’s most famous meeting point – ‘Oso y El Madroño’, the bear with the strawberry tree. The central square of this neighbourhood is quite literally where all the roads in the Iberian peninsula lead to, which means it’s really hard to get lost if this is where you want to go. This area is popular both day and night, with buskers, natives, and tourists snapping photos of some of Madrid’s most iconic sights.
