Sitting on the site of an old bakery in Bristol’s affluent Redland neighbourhood, this inviting home is the perfect base for those looking for a comfortable, central stay in one of the UK’s most creative cities. Downstairs, you’ll find an open-plan living area decked out in chic, contemporary decor. We love the minimalist touch here that feels singularly modern, with wood floors and bright white walls giving the space a Scandi feel. The window-side dining table beckons sociable soirées when you’re not out sampling the local restaurants and pubs, while the two bedrooms – one on each floor – are stylish spaces with their Matisse-inspired art prints and comfortable beds. When it comes to exploring nearby, you’ve got plenty from which to choose. Wander the shops along Whiteladies Road (a five-minute walk) and Gloucester Road (a fifteen-minute walk), enjoy a stroll or a picnic on Clifton Downs (a ten-minute walk) and visit the iconic Clifton Suspension Bridge (thirty minutes away on foot).
