Listen to the sound of the river when you stay at this beautifully furnished cottage. The views from this home over the River Wye are wonderful. Enjoy a glass of wine on the terrace or gather around the log burner set into the exposed stone fireplace if the weather is chilly. We love the striking kitchen with its vaulted ceiling. There's another log burner here to keep you toasty while you rustle up some Welsh rarebit. After lunch, why not take a stroll around the surrounding countryside or head to Builth Wells, a small town offering a variety of shops, pubs, restaurants and cafes a short distance away? There's an array of outdoor activities close by to pursue, including golf, fishing and horse-riding. Or go for a hike on the highest peak in South Wales – Pen y Fan, in the Brecon Beacons National Park, is a twenty-five-minute drive from this lovely home.
