The view from this seaside home has to be one of the best in Looe – overlooking the sandy beach and as close to the sea as it gets. Split over two floors, it's a large and practical apartment with a balcony and plenty of room for a family or group of friends. And with the beach just steps from your door, we imagine you'll be out there for morning walks, afternoons of sandcastle building and maybe even evening paddles. Inside, you'll have two bedrooms and two bathrooms on the entrance level, meaning there's an upside-down arrangement here – allowing the main bedroom and living room to benefit from the best views. Open and bright, the living space upstairs has comfy seating, a dining table and doors out to the balcony. Shades of blue, white and grey reflect the view outside and they're continued into the kitchen, where a large hatch keeps everything nice and sociable at meal times. Here you'll also be just a short walk from Looe's many restaurants, tea rooms and shops, with the working fishing harbour on your doorstep and boat trips out to the nearby island.     This isn't the most glamorous home in our collection but we think the views, location and space more than makes up for it

    Be prepared to experience some noise from the pub next door – it has a nightclub license on Friday and Saturday nights and although it's soundproofed inside, customers can be heard outside

    You'll need to climb a total of 40 stairs and the apartment is split over two floors with internal stairs

    There's one reserved space in the building's car park – it's quite tight so it's only suitable for a smaller size car (there's a big public car park at nearby Millpool)

    A travel cot and high chair are available on request – small children will need to be supervised on the balcony

    Please bring your own beach towels
