This coastal getaway couldn’t be better placed to explore all of Devonshire’s Jurassic Coast scenery and attractions. Nestled in the seaside town of Colyton, you’re within short driving distance of the charming town of Seaton, the rugged Hooken Cliff walking trails and the area’s sprawling pebble beaches. With rural walks, national parks, wetlands, quarry caves and heritage railways nearby, we expect you’ll be spending most of your time outdoors, exploring this stunning region of East Devon. However, this home is the perfect antidote to activity-packed days, with its sleek modern interiors, contemporary furnishings and accents that hint at the sea. A day stretched out in the garden with your new read will instantly put you into holiday mode, or settle into the plump sofas for a night cosied up with a movie – we love the mid-century-style chairs placed in front of the crackling fire – they practically beckon downtime. Local pubs and boutiques are a short drive away so, although it might feel remote, it’s not at all isolated. In fact, it's perfectly placed. Seaton town centre is a few minutes away by car, and with a long shingle beach at its edge – pack your towel and a picnic...
