Norfolk’s incredible landscapes range from golden coastlines to lush farmlands with wildlife, flora, and fauna at every turn. While nature lovers are well catered for, the vibrant city centre of Norwich is less than thirty miles away from this rural cottage – just in case you could possibly get fed up with the wonderful peace and quiet. This period house in the village of Langham offers the opportunity to explore the local village hall and cosy pubs, but with such a striking home setting, you might not feel the need to leave. Intricate stonework with red-brick frames around the windows, a terracotta roof and chimney stack – it’s exactly what you’d hope from an English country abode. With foliage creeping up its historic walls and a paved courtyard in the middle, this barn-like building has plenty of diverse spaces for you to relax in. With two different living spaces inside, you’re spoilt for choice when it comes to sipping tea on a chilly day. The ‘garden lounge’ offers a striking display of chunky, original timber beams and supports, while the other has floral sofas and beams painted in elegant white. But with both boasting log-burners, you’ll feel warm and welcome whichever one... you chose.
