This newly renovated apartment in central Malaga is so spot on. Located a few metres from lively Larios Street, and within walking distance of the old town as well as all of the city’s most emblematic sites, this serene yet sophisticated home is the perfect place from which to explore all that this southern Mediterranean city, the cosmopolitan capital of the Costa del Sol, has to offer. Loaded with history and brimming with a youthful vigour that proudly acknowledges its multifaceted past, the city that bore Picasso boasts the ancient Alcazaba, the craggy Castillo de Gibralfaro, a radically re-designed port and nascent art district, not to mention cool cafes and tempting tapas. After a jam-packed day of sightseeing and socialising, you’ll be in need of a little guaranteed R & R. Once home – think whitewashed walls, pale wooden floors and indoor plants a plenty – you’ll be able to kick back and relax on one of two comfortable sofas in the living room, host a movie night for family or friends, or, if you’re really beat, retire to one of the beautiful bedrooms for an uninterrupted night’s sleep.
