Surrounded by vibrant palm trees where it’s situated in the exclusive Puntacana Resort & Club, this villa perfectly captures luxury, comfort and beauty so you have to think about little else than unwinding for those precious weeks of the year when you get to take a time-out. The daily cleaning services and private chef will help with that too – so figuring out how best to relax really will be the only thing you need to consider. We suggest mornings out on the balcony for meditation. Once you’ve had some time to yourself to restore your tranquillity, you can gather around the table for a prepared breakfast – there is one indoors, but given how gorgeous the covered outdoor dining area is, you’ll be more than happy with eating every meal there. Afterwards, you might hit the gym where you can keep your connection to the outside through the glass wall. A lot of this home is focussed on putting you out in the fresh air and why not embrace it by enjoying a glass of wine snuggled into the corner of the terrace sofa, or taking the on-site bicycles out for a bit of exploration. The beach is minutes away,... but visiting it is entirely dependent on your ability to tear yourself away from the comforts of this home. If you choose to stay in, sunbathe poolside, do a few laps in the crystal clear water when it gets a little too hot, or enjoy a drink in the hot tub when the sun starts to set. Indoors, the wrap-around sofa is perfect for family movie nights or for readers who like to sprawl out. An afternoon nap here doesn’t sound like a bad idea either, but you might enjoy it more in one of the generous bedrooms where you can open the doors and windows and let the gentle breeze soothe you to sleep.
