Nestled in the charming coastal town of Bamburgh, this little cottage sets the tone for a relaxing stay on the Northumberland coast. And with its location just a short amble from the sprawling dunes, powdery sand beaches, and the historic Bamburgh Castle, there’s everything you could need for an invigorating coastal retreat. Minimal in design, this cosy abode is a welcome seaside sanctuary to return to after a day at the Grace Darling Museum. From the calming palette of neutrals to the plush furnishings, the living area is the perfect place to enjoy conversations, card games and movie nights. We especially love the garden here, where we expect you’ll want to spend afternoons grilling up a barbecue dinner or stretched out with your holiday read. Enjoy a short stroll into Bamburgh village for cake in one of the teahouses or option for a lobster roll in one of the seafood restaurants. If you’re looking to make the most of the region’s abundant wildlife, take a boat trip to the Farne Islands to sight native sea birds and grey seals or make the short drive to Budle Bay for a walk in the nature reserve.
