Looking for a Cornwall retreat with a sea view? Then they don't come much more inspiring than this, folks. Situated on Gillan Creek belonging to the Lizard Peninsula and boasting its very own private quay, this is truly a one-of-a-kind home. There are quiet suntrap nooks in the garden (so many we've lost count) and expansive balconies to retreat and drink up those sea views. And when it's time to all get together, that ginormous kitchen and dining area spilling out onto the terrace is the place to be (impromptu kitchen disco, anyone?). You can keep the night flowing around the roaring fire pit outside as you look up at the stars. Or hunker down inside around the crackling fire of the inescapably cosy living room and break out the board games – those views of Helford River through the French doors will be right there with you. Upstairs, the five bedrooms feel like an interior magazine come to life with rich earthy textiles, rustic rattan accents, and mid-century modern furniture nodding to the vintage era. However, you'll need to form an orderly queue for those two super-king bedrooms with sensational sea views and direct access to the balcony – what showstoppers.... With everything you need right here at home, it'll be hard to tear yourselves away. But really you must. With direct access to the creek and Helford River, there's much exploring to be done. And don't get us started on those year-round, dog-friendly beaches close by – the Lizard Peninsula is scattered with fine beaches. Your only dilemma will be deciding where to head first.

About The Lizard Peninsula
The Lizard Peninsula is the most southerly point in the UK. Craggy cliffs blanketed in soft moss lead to farmers’ fields, and rocky waters crash on the shores of sheltered coves. Bounded at one end by the River Helford and Loe Pool, the peninsula protrudes south into the Atlantic Ocean. The perilous seas that surround the Lizard have helped give it its unique, rocky landscape. Thanks to this unusual composition,...
