Tucked away amid olive groves in the Tuscan hills, this stunning villa ticks every box. It’s in Palaia, within easy reach of all of Tuscany’s most popular sights and cities, including Florence, Pisa and Lucca. Here, you’re perfectly placed for day trips full of history and culture – not to mention the wonderful vineyards nearby. The villa is a real beauty. It dates back to the 10th century, with the turret being added in the 16th century. From the main bedroom within the turret, you can enjoy magnificent views of the rolling hills of the Tuscan countryside. Hectares of olive groves surround the home, giving it a tranquil and secluded feel. You’ll find yourself relaxing as soon as you arrive, whether you plan on spending your time swimming in the private pool, sunbathing on the terrace, or dining beneath the pergola. The barbecue and wood-burning oven make alfresco dining a breeze, but you could always book a private chef or a local cooking class if you really want to wow your guests.
