Found in charming Spitalfields, just off the eponymously trendy Shoreditch High Street (eight minutes walk), this is a unique townhouse with a whole lot of character in an enviable location. Amble around the hip streets, browsing vintage and designer shops, before delving into the eclectic food scene offering everything from artisan coffee shops to quirky noodle bars. Elsewhere, culture-seekers can also walk to the iconic Tower of London in just twenty minutes. Taking inspiration from an archaic style, the apartment combines low-hanging lights, tasteful artwork, gold-accented mirror, candlesticks and soft thoughtful furnishings to make for a quirky yet cosy and homely living space. Upstairs, the bedrooms are a continuation of the gothic design, with bold wardrobes, a four-poster bed and moody serene tones. Although we couldn't think of a better place to unwind than out in the luscious private garden and patio area, flourishing with billowing flowers and overgrown plants – it's the jewel in this antique crown. Please note all stays of 8 nights or more include complimentary weekly cleaning, linen changes and replenishment of toiletries.
