Like Romeo and Juliet, our feelings towards this home could be described as an epic love affair. Set in the Franciacorta countryside, this stunning 17th-century manor oozes old-world glamour and an unmistakable, classically Italian style – featuring period fireplaces, impressive sitting rooms, and not one but two grand dining rooms. Find your favourite place to sit within the elegant high-ceilinged spaces and delve into a fantastical story – perhaps in the dedicated library simply made for an afternoon of peaceful reading. Step outside and the beautiful gardens offer wonderful vineyard views stretching to Monte Orfano, while the spectacular pool calls for you to dive in and cool down on a hazy, sun-drenched afternoon. Feeling sporty? Practice your serve on the tennis court, instead. If you can pull yourself away from this magical, fairytale-esque home, then you will find Lake Iseo and its beautiful beaches around 13 kilometres away, while the historic city of Bergamo with its art, history and culture can be reached by car in just thirty minutes. Of course, you can't visit the Lombardy countryside without paying a visit to some of its renowned vineyards, stopping into their cellars to sample the full-bodied flavours of the regional vinos. Venture... further afield, and you can enjoy unforgettable days out in places such as Lake Garda, Verona, and ultra-chic Milan.

Host
This home is managed by Oliver
This home is managed directly by a business. A member of their staff will be your point of contact before and during your stay. Nearly twenty years ago, Oliver and his friend began curating the world's most unique and rustic getaways. Driven by their own unforgettable experience at a chateau, they have grown remarkably since then. Much like Plum, they believe in hand-picked luxury that doesn't break the bank.
