Do you have a question about this home or the local area?

This home is situated in the cultural hotspot of the Intendente district, close to the city centre, so you’ll find plenty of multicultural food options and azulejo-covered old buildings. There are some beautiful views from the nearby Chapel of Our Lady of the Mountain, as well as the Mirador Nuestra Señora del Monte. Intendente Station on the Green Line of the Lisbon Metro is under a five-minute walk away, so the rest of Lisbon is easy to access, too. Inside this stylish apartment, multiple French doors allow light to flood in. Pour a glass of wine and take in the views over the neighbourhood from the small balconies. We love the polished wooden floors and grey colour scheme enlivened by pops of cheerful yellow. Later, rustle up some tasty bacalhau (salt cod) with olives and potatoes in the sleek kitchen for dinner. If you need to catch up on work, upstairs, there’s an office area with an industrial vibe with its metal storage cabinet and concrete ceiling. This place is perfect for families, friends or business professionals.

Although there's a lift to this home, inside there are stairs to climb to one bedroom (the other two are on the same floor as the entrance)

This home is in a central spot, so bustle and noise is to be expected - light sleepers may want to pack earplugs

It's possible you might hear some noise from neighbours during your stay as you're in a communal apartment building

About Intendente

The Mayor of Lisbon moved his office into Intendente in 2012, giving it the infusion of funds needed to rebuild and elevate this often forgotten part of town. Only a decade ago, Intendente was in bad shape, but the revitalising initiatives have created an unexpected consequence – an incredible culinary scene, where everything goes. There are still some rough edges, but most of the previously abandoned buildings now home indie record stores, craft fairs, and art galleries. We suggest you start your trip in Largo Café, the artsy meeting point for locals and visitors.
