Embrace a slower pace of life and find new meanings to relaxation in this peaceful Sicilian villa. Nestled in the verdant countryside, you wouldn’t think you were just a few kilometres from the historic city of Modica, offering the very best of sun, sea, and culture for your getaway. Firstly, the grounds of this stone brick villa are special all on their own. Olive trees and luscious greenery encircle the home, with your lovely hosts, who love to share their biological landscape with their guests, and their land nearby. But of course, the shining jewel of the home is the aquamarine pool, where you’ll spend blissful hours soaking up the sun, admiring the landscape, and occasionally taking a dip. This home beautifully conquers indoor-outdoor living, with several tables at your disposal on the cobblestone piazza. With a sloped wooden vault roof and cream brick walls, the bucolic dining table is the perfect place for a continental breakfast of Sicilian citrus fruits and plenty of coffee. Sundowners will taste just as good wherever you enjoy them, but the sofa set beneath the pergola gives you a gorgeous view of the whole house. Then, settle into the cosy barbecue nook for drinks and... nibbles while you wait on the traditional stone barbecue to finish grilling dinner. It'd be easy to never want to leave this slice of heaven, but Modica’s unique baroque architecture and winding streets full of history are sure to tempt you. Admire the many cathedrals, taste some of the city’s famous chocolate, and sip on a few Aperol Spritzes at Marina di Modica.
